Carboxy therapySCHEDULE A CONSULTATION
- Improves stretch marks
- Dark under eye circles
- Eye bags and puffiness
- cellulite
- It has also been proven effective in small fat pocket removal (Lipolysis).
In addition, you can expect to suffer few, if any, detrimental side effects as a result of this nonsurgical treatment. It is a safe, minimally invasive clinically proven method to rejuvenate, restore, and recondition the skin and treat loose skin (due to ageing or post pregnancy) cellulite, resistant fat and stretch marks.
HOW DOES CARBOXY TREATMENT WORK?
Carboxytherapy Therapy involves injecting tiny amounts of Carbon dioxide (CO2) beneath the skin to break down fatty deposits and stimulate collagen production. The treatment has no downtime and a single session can take between fifteen minutes and an hour. Carboxy therapy infuses CO2 just beneath the skin’s surface; the body interprets this as an oxygen deficit and responds by providing a surge of oxygen and nutrients to the treated area and improves circulation, resulting in cell restoration. This Increased oxygen concentration also improves the water retention or oedema in the area
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
The number of treatments depends upon the severity of the problem. Before the treatment we will assess the area to determine number of sessions required. Usually treatments are spaced one week apart. Most patients require 5- 8 sessions for dark circles or eye bags and 5-10 sessions for cellulite of fat reduction and may even require further treatments at a later time.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
It takes around fifteen to thirty minutes to complete a treatment .
CAN CARBOXY THERAPY BE USED FOR TREATING CELLULITE?
Carboxytherapy can be used for the treatment of cellulite and for fat removal. Cellulite manifests itself as the appearance of dimpled skin that is caused by fat deposits just below the skin. Cellulite can most commonly be found in the abdomen, legs and pelvic region. Nonetheless, it can be found on any area of the human body. For cellulite reduction, a lymph drainage treatment increases the circulation to the area, thereby reducing the build-up of toxins which is a major cause of cellulite. When the gas is introduced into the dermis, it breaks down the superficial fat causing the cottage cheese effect and stimulates dermal collagen levels. This all leads to improved texture and appearance of the cellulite or orange-peel appearance.
CARBOXY THERAPY FOR DARK CIRCLES AND EYE BAGS
Carboxy therapy can dramatically improve the appearance of dark circles or bags underneath the eye. These may be caused by darkened pigment, or a hollow depression below the lower eyelids or by poor circulation beneath the lower eyelids also known as vascular pooling.
It takes just five minutes to perform the treatment and it is painless. Dark circles are typically caused by several factors, either alone or in combination. The first possibility is that there is actual deposition of pigment into the skin of the lower eyelid due to post-traumatic hyperpigmentation. Due to this skin of the lower eyelids gets irritated because of chronic tearing due to allergies or dry eye. Skin pigmentation is the easiest cause of dark under eye circles. It can be treated using carboxy therapy in combination with home bleaching regimens.
The second cause of dark under eye circles is vascular pooling. The capillary network of the lower eyelids can become congested for a variety of reasons. The lack of appropriate oxygenation to the lower eyelid skin allows the bluish cast to show through the thin skin of the eyelids. Carboxy therapy works to improve the capillary network of the lower eyelids, as well as to increase the dermal collagen layer in the lower eyelid skin.
In a sense, by injecting small amounts of carbon dioxide gas just below the surface of the skin, we are tricking it into increasing the blood circulation to that area. Dark under-eye circles, cellulite, and stretch marks have all been shown to have some root cause in poor blood circulation.
