When I got engaged, I started putting together my own skin treatment plan for myself about 8 months before my wedding today. Today I am going to share with you the best way to get just that. Let me begin with what to do and when to start.
WHEN SHOULD I START?
Leading up to the big day, start AT LEAST 4-6 months before, if not sooner.
Your Face

Why?
It’s a great all-rounder treatment for most skin types. It is my absolute favourite. This treatment reduces pigmentation, redness, and it tightens up the skin and stimulates collagen, all in one go!
What about Acne and scarring- If the skin is breaking out, then I normally advise doing chemical peels to reduce breakouts and congestion. I always have a look at what skincare my patients are using at home to ensure we are getting the best results possible. This can be combined with the BBL laser to treat red and brown scarring left over from acne lesions.
Décolleté
Cherie’s Recommended treatment -BBL treatment (BroadBand Light)-
You have fallen in love with your wedding dress, its breathtaking….. and also shows off some skin…
You want to get your décolleté area free of sun damage and discolouration so your skin is blemish-free and glowing from head to toe.
Typically, 2-4 sessions spaced 2-3 weeks apart are needed for a great result- this is heavily dependent on how much sun damage you have to begin with! Start early as this is a treatment you cannot do in the month before your wedding.
